Hello everyone. I wrote my blog this week, then deleted it, and rewrote it. And you know I really have bored myself reading it! I was writing about the difficulty I was having with my knee and the decision whether to get specialist intervention or not, then it just got better. All on it’s own. I walked four kilometers, three times this week, and it’s good. So I cancelled the appointment. It costs so much money to go to the doctor here, even with health insurance. There’s no way I’m going if it’s not necessary. My blog sounded a bit whingy, so I changed my mind again, and decided not to publish it. A woman’s prerogative right?

So I thought we should do something fun for a change. Recently on a Facebook post one of my friends posted their name definition from the Urban Dictionary, and it was really funny.

OMG I did that today at Dangelini’s cafe when a man at the counter started hassling the girl behind the counter, and rang the bell, when she was already serving me. She asked him to be patient because she was just preparing my food, but he hassled her, and I said ‘yeah, don’t get between me and my food, I haven’t eaten since last night! He said, last night, girl you need to eat, and he was really patient after that (it was three o’clock, and Bermudian’s love food!).

“A woman that is both beautiful on the inside and out. Many may call her a saint. She will have your back in any fight, and so you better have her’s too, and if not she will discard you for the coward trash heap you are.”

Yeah I hate to say it, I’m pretty black and white about most things, there’s no grey area. But I don’t know about the saint part!

By the way that ‘food’ was a cod fish cake burger, delicious. On a more serious note, I’m getting organised to pop my little cards on their own separate page, please look out for this in the menu section. I’ve posted my first two bundles, one for a friends birthday, and the other for a book swap, which is very cool. I’ve made my own packaging and tried to keep it very lightweight, so I’ll get feedback once they arrive to find out if it’s done it’s job properly. If any one wants some sent, drop me a note on my ‘Contact Me’ page, and I can then email you directly. With Christmas mail already past it’s deadline here, I’m not sure how long it will take to get to you. Of course it has to go right around the world a few times first, lol.

One time I sent two packages on the same day from Wales to New Zealand, to two separate addresses. One got there in just four days, the other took two months, and was postmarked in nearly every country that exists. You have to wonder where they thought New Zealand was!

George is in full hibernation now it’s cooler, that means it’s dropped to just twenty degrees here. Bermudians are rugged up in their jackets, trousers and scarfs. I’m still wearing my shorts, but need my hoodie most of the time. The excitement of getting out my winter purple starry dressing gown and woolly slippers was short lived, as I over heated and had to take it all off again. Oh well, the thought counts. We’re visiting the UK again soon, going ‘off Island’, which means to have a break, and looking at the temperatures there, I’m going to freeze!
